How to play Block Strike
Fit the available pieces onto the board, clear complete lines, and avoid running out of space.
Basic rules
- Select one of the available block pieces.
- Drag the piece to an open area of the grid.
- Fill an entire horizontal row or vertical column to clear it.
- Use all available pieces to receive a new set.
- The round ends when none of the available pieces can fit.
Strategy tips
- Protect open space. Avoid creating isolated single-cell gaps that few pieces can fill.
- Plan all available pieces. Before placing the first piece, check where the largest piece can go.
- Build from the edges. Keeping the center flexible makes awkward shapes easier to place.
- Prepare multiple clears. Completing more than one line together can create room quickly.
- Do not chase every immediate clear. Sometimes preserving a large open area is more valuable.
